Barbados is a triangular shaped island country in the southeastern Caribbean Sea.  Bridgetown, established in 1628, is the capital and largest town in Barbados and is the main seaport on the island’s southwest coast. Cruise ships dock at the Bridgetown Harbour Cruise Pier which is within walking distance (1 mile) to the main streets of the city.  

 

Bridgetown is known for its British colonial architecture and 17th century military Garrison. It is a town steeped in history and now has a unique blend of African, American and British influences.
